WHAT IS A MACARON
A French macaron is a sweet meringue based cookie made from egg whites, granulated sugar, almond flour, icing sugar and food coloring. Just like how the sauce makes the dish the filling is what makes these little beauties shine. There are endless flavors that can be achieved (both savory and sweet) and colors beyond the imagination! If you've never enjoyed one of these delicate treats, I encourage you to indulge your senses to these sweet, crunchy, chewy, melty delights.
WHO AM I
My name is Chezaraye and I am in the wonderfully bright city of Las Vegas, Nevada. I started making macarons a couple months after the pandemic started. I've spent a lot of my adult life struggling with depression and anxiety so I knew a new skill or craft was a necessity. I needed to get my mind off of how my life was at that moment in time. I turned to a cookie that not only would force me to keep trying to perfect it but something that I enjoy chowing down on as well. It took months of practice before I was comfortable enough to share them with friends. I absolutely loved the support and feedback I got from my partner, family and friends that I wanted to expand that happiness toward this beautiful city!
